Dr. Dyana Mitchell originates from Baltimore, Maryland. In her pursuit of accomplishing her goal of becoming a veterinarian, her travels first took her to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. There, she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry. Later, Dr. Mitchell attended Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in Basseterre, St. Kitts with the goal of obtaining her Doctorate in veterinary medicine. This journey was completed after Dr. Mitchell finished her clinical year at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, OK in 2007. Dr. Mitchell has an interest in good quality medicine medically as well as surgically, ophthalmology and she has a feather in her heart. Outside of the veterinary world (and sometimes within it), Dr. Mitchell enjoys singing, dancing, playing the viola, sports (Go Heels!!! Go Ravens!!!), reading, hands-on tasks, her volunteer services, and spending time with her four-legged daughter, Trista Janea.
